<h4>ABOUT THE CLIENT</h4><p>PT. Intan Teknik Solusi (ITS) is an industrial machinery service provider. What they do is providing service in cleaning, maintaining, and repairing units like cooling towers, boilers, pipes, and other infrastructure that has water involved.</p><p>As a new start up company in the field, ITS is facing a giant, where more matured companies have stronger brand presence, built up experiences, and trust from existing customers.</p><p>Something they need to gather to ensure their success in the industry. After developing their specialty product, ITS are ready to establish their brand by having a website.</p><h4>THE CHALLENGE</h4><ul><li><p>Website has to be fresh looking.</p></li><li><p>Contents will be updated frequently, so CMS is needed.</p></li></ul><p>Client expect the website to be fresh looking compared to the other players in the industry. They want the website to have bold colors that reflect their brand, and also neat looking to convey their systematic approach.</p><p>It has to be easy to modify, because they want to update their content regularly. Oh, they have a marketing team to do that, and no IT department involved.</p><h4>RESULT</h4><ol><li><p>Responsive website built with Wordpress, optimized for mobile, tablet, and desktop.</p></li><li><p>Products &amp; Services are displayed in front page, uncluttered and neat.</p></li></ol><h4>CREATION PROCESS</h4><p>Having to be neat looking, but fresh, is the challenge given to us. The client doesn’t want the website to look like a contemporary-image-stacking-elements-overlapping-modern websites. They prefer the traditional box layout.</p><p>So we need to tread lightly regarding the look and feel. How can we stay creative while preserving the box layout.</p><p>At first, we gave them several alternatives but they thought it's either too bold for the industry, or too boring to capture attention.</p><p>We have quick brainstorm session with the marketing team, which elements can we take or omit. From there, we have the overall structure of the current website.</p><p>Even though there are some fixes here and there to polish, the UI UX structure is defined.</p><h4>PROBLEM WE FACED</h4><ol><li><p>Unclear expectations from client.</p></li><li><p>Tight deadline.</p></li></ol><h4>HOW WE OVERCOME</h4><ol><li><p>We make sure to communicate with the decision maker.</p></li><li><p>We work closely with the most important team involved with the decision making, and make agile decision to gather the fastest feedback.</p></li></ol>
